Man mistakes bear cub for puppy

Somebody I used to know who lived in the hills of PA had a giant black lab / retriever mix, and he looked exactly like a skinny bear cub from a distance, so I'm not surprised the inverse could also be true. He actually got free and wondered into someone's open door and, because they live in the hills, the woman screamed and thought he was a bear cub.

I use to have a black Cocker Spaniel that a couple of people thought was a bear. I didn't see it myself, the only thing she had in common as far as looks with a black bear was that she was black, she only weighted 60lbs. She was fat.
