    Globe and Mail -
LeBron James had an MRI on his sore right big toe, but it was negative.

"He stubbed his toe a few games ago, and he hit it again last night," coach Mike Brown said after practice Thursday.

James is expected to play on Friday against Philadelphia.

PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- One day after nearly making NBA
history, LeBron James received some bad news.

The Cleveland Cavaliers announced that James has a sprained
right big toe and will miss the team's road game against the
    Philadelphia 76ers on Friday.

After undergoing an MRI on Thursday and being re-examined Friday
in Philadelphia, James was ruled out of the contest against the
76ers. Cavaliers coach Mike Brown has listed James as
    day-to-day.

This is terrible. The Cavs need Lebron. Hopefully, his toe gets the rest and treatment it needs and he'll be back on the court in no time.
