Yes, I'm talking about the 1982-93 NBC version of his show, not the version on CBS called "The Late Show" that's been on the air since 1993.
Who here remembers this show? I remember it, and boy, was it a big fun-filled hour! Stupid Pet Tricks, Elevator Races, that theme, and oh, man......... there's a lot more, but it can't come to me at the moment!
