The last time I was there was 11 years ago. I'm going back soon and I want more recent tips on must-sees and where-tos.

Who has been there or who wants to go there (and for what?)?

I would love to go there. For the casinos of course! I would love to play Poker and try and win money on all the fruit machines.
My aunt went there a while back and gave me one of those cups you get to keep all your coins in. They're awesome.

I went there this summer and I had a blast. Arguably one of the best times of my life, there were a lot of drinking, a lot of partying, lots of girls, it was just a general good time.

I would go there again in a split second, and if anyone would ask me my honest opinion on whether they should go or not, I wouldn't hesitate to say yes. If you for a weekend then I suggest you to get a Hotel, but if you're for five days plus with a group of people, then I suggest you to rent a Villa. It's so much better.

I went there when I was about 15 or 16, so obviously I couldn't gamble. It was pretty cool walking through all of the different hotels though. We went to a magic show one night. And I rode the roller coaster at New York New York. And we went rafting through a canyon by the Hoover Dam.

Honestly, while I did have a good time and there's a lot to do there, I have absolutely no desire to go back. I'm not the gambling type, though it would be fun to play in a poker tournament there. The area is just...ugly. It's a sleazy city in the middle of an unattractive desert. And it's ungodly hot there for most of the year.

We stopped in Vegas during a family vacation on our way to Los Angeles and San Francisco haha. We were only there for two days but I loved it. The lights and everything were really cool...got to see Hoover Dam which was awesome as well.

I would like to go when I can gamble though...just to experience it in a different way.

How far is the Hoover Dam from the Strip? We'll be staying at the Trump.

The last time I went there, my uncle gave me 200 dollars for gambling. I wish someone would give me again this time, too bad, lol. I wanna try the famous buffets and pick a show or two. It will just be for a long weekend.

The one place I have to visit before I die.

My Dad went, he said it was amazing... Like a whole different world.

The Hoover Dam is not five hours from the strip. It's like 20-30 minutes, tops. Maybe you're thinking of the Grand Canyon, which is nearby, but does take several hours to get to.

Vegas is awesome. I try to go every year for 4 or 5 days. I go with my girlfriends and we have a great time. We have been to some really good shows. We went to Phantom Of The Opera. It was terrific. We went to see the Thunder Down Under male dancers. It was a hoot! We went on the Haunted Vegas tour which was pretty cool too. Stay on the strip. Harrah's is centrally located and very nice for the price.

I stopped there for a night on my travels to Vegas. I had a 12 hour layover, got to see midnight come and go on the Strip. :D I walked on it for a good 8 hours, till about 4am.

Oddly enough I was actually looking at the pictures I took from there earlier today.
