How many can you speak?
I speak 2.
English & Hebrew
I speak two languages fluently, and 2 languages a bit.
Serbian and English fluently, Italian and Greek a bit.
I'd say I only speak English. I can speak Spanish at an 11th grade level (though really that only translates into reading), I know the Greek alphabet and pronunciation, and a dozen words of Turkish.
beginner's level: 1
I really only speak one but my 6 year old daughter speaks 3 fluently - English, Spanish and French. Her little brother is catching up with her too.
What the hell?
6 years old and already three languages?
I can read, write and speak Dutch and English. But I can only speak Chinese. It depends on how you look at it. If it's about speaking then I can do three languages. But if it involves reading and writing then only two languages.
It's not that uncommon if the family is multicultural.
hmm.. Wondering if I should teach my daughter Yiddish
That's if I knew how to speak it.
I can speak English and French fluently.
Oh and I can also talk gibberish whilst drunk...is that a language!?
