Knicks' Free Agent Jeffries Suffers Broken Wrist

Aw, Here It Goes!
In the DAILY NEWS, Frank Isola writes "Jared Jeffries could be sidelined for as long as six to eight weeks after the Knicks announced that the veteran forward had suffered a nondisplaced left wrist fracture in Friday's preseason opener against the Nets. The Knicks' medical staff informed the 6-11 Jeffries that the injury to his nonshooting hand will not require surgery. Jeffries was scheduled to visit a hand specialist last night in New York and the team remains optimistic he will return within four weeks."
