I know most of you are being funny, but to answer the OP's question, no, my Mother is not over rated.
She is/was the most wonderful Mother in the world~
My best friend, she had courage beyond belief, compassion, a big heart, intelligence...she made the people all around her happy!
I couldn't possibly say enough nice things about my Mother, it would go on...for infinity
