Is Tom Brady finally on the decline?

StroShow

The return shall be legenday!
V.I.P.
Yes I know it's only week 1 but entertain me will ya. Not taking anything away from Miami's second half defence but Tom Brady looked absolutely horrible Sunday. He couldn't do anything on that football field, even in the last few minutes where he usually shines. Is he on the decline or is still has plenty of elite football left in him?

At some point, you gotta put some acceptable talent around your stars...At his age, he can't keep being the magician he once was

It worked for the 3 Super Bowl wins but that was too long ago, Brady can only do so much

As clutch as Brady has been over the years, you look at his receiving corps right now (even though it's only Week 2), and you can't make miracles with the guys he has to throw the ball to. Like Birdy said, it's too small of a sample size to conclude if Brady's in decline or not.

Also helped having great defenses where he didn't have to do too much

The receivers don't help, but if the passes are just missing entirely, that's probably on him, not them.
