Exercise Is exercising everyday bad?

It isn't bad to work out every day. Doing some form of physical activity each day is smart when you're trying to slim down. But if you want to lose weight, repeating the same workout mode, intensity, or duration day after day won't work.


Embrace the Suck
From the perspective of muscle gains or cardio, I wouldn’t say it’s bad, but it’s not optimal. I take two days off, Tuesdays and either Saturday or Sunday. It’s used to be just one rest day during the week, but have changed it to twice. Rest is good.

From the perspective of potential injuries I would say it’s bad. Again, rest is good and not resting can lead to injuries.
