Early this year I couldn't even imagine getting a gym subscription. I'm lazy to exercise in a specific place. Actually, correct that, I'm lazy to exercise. I figured, I walk a lot anyway and have no weight problems. Gym has always been an alien concept to me so it's also like going to school and not know what to expect. Plus it costs money. Anyway, six months ago I decided to quit smoking (cold turkey) and since I'm on that path of shocking my entourage, I added going to the gym to keep me preoccupied. Also I felt like it'll good for me mentally...I have a lot on my plate. Thanks to Les Mills courses, fantastic coaches, accessible gym facility and support from friends (including my original GF gym buddy, Unity - or whatever his name is now haha), I actually enjoyed it. Even when I went on my vacation, I got temporary gym membership in CA. So last week, I renewed my subscription even though it is still pricey (monthly rates here seem to equal to annual fee in the US gyms that my friends go to). I don't consider this a luxury though. It's like I have incorporated it in my routine, even if there are days I certainly couldn't make it regularly, and I cannot imagine not having to go back to a gym anymore. Ack!
