I need enough people to join in on this idea to make a baseball team.
How many are in a team?
Team Players and the teams Coaches too.
I am not going to post it on the board what my idea is, but you can mail if you want to get in on this idea. To make is "possibly" work, we need enough people to make a team, and a coach, assistant coach..

Well

Durring the regular season the teams have a 25 man roster
By the end of the year they expand to a 40 man roster

Coaches:
Manager
Bench Coach
Bullpen Coach
Pitching Coach
Hitting coach
Third Base Coach
First Base Coach

So at the beginning of the year 25 players...7 coaches
End of year 40 players... 7 coaches

these dont count scouts, trainers, physicians and such which travel with the team (most teams have 9 staff that also travel with team) and that also doesnt include the mascot...

So technically, there are 41-56 people make up a baseball team

 

Ohhhh I wanna be the mascot! (but I'm not jumping on any cheerleaders)! Or can I be the "hitting coach" I want to hit the coach....ahhh who's the coach? Then again being in charge of all those sweaty guys in the "bull pen" could be fun too.......

The Bench Coach is the Managers right hand man. He has to know alot of stuff, including keeping track of a pitchers pitch count. score card. Managing the bench. (ie. If other team makes a pitching change, he knows the number of said pitcher vs batters, basically who does what against who, it even works in reverse order) Its one of the reasons "bench" coaches usually become managers. They have to keep track of EVERYTHING
