I think we can all agree...

...that using emoticons in MD is beyond stupid. It drags any topic down the to level of two 10 year olds on AIM. So can we all just stop putting the little laughing faces around opinions that are different to our own?

 

I agree. I'm probably guilty of doing exactly this, but I don't laugh at opinions that are different than mine. I mostly use the laughing smily whenever I amuse myself anyway.
