I like my mash with salad cream or gravy.
I like my chips with tommy sauce.
I either like my mash potatoes with garlic butter, ketchup or gravy.
I'll eat my French fries with salt and pepper with lots of ketchup.
Mash - gravy, cheese or nothing
Chips - gravy, cheese, salt, ketchup or nothing.
Chips/fries and gravy is the best thing ever. Have to be the right kind of chips though.
Oh and I've never heard of mash with salad cream before!
It's a very nice combo. You should give it a try. I had it earlier with some fish fingers. :nod:
I like my mashed taters au jus-drizzled with bangers, or Irish colcannon style with bits of cabbage. I'm not a huge fan of French fries, but will normally dip them in Hunt's or Heinz ketchup when I do eat them.
Both with gravy, best way to have them, but I also do eat them on there own.
Mash Potato - with gravy or lots of cheese, butter and garlic.
Chips - Gravy or Tomato Sauce...no salt
Fries (because i'm weird and eat them differently to chips) - Lots and lots of salt (They are probably the only thing I add salt to), and dipped in mayo.
I'm confused, what's the difference between fries and chips, to you?

I tell you what else is good, those beer batter chips.. mmmmm.
