Gazdic completely destroyed Westgarth tonight. They immediately rushed him off of the ice. They took him out the exit between the benches instead of the exit at the teams bench.


He did not return. No word on any injury, it was a precaution at that point. This is the second KO for Gazdic since the Olympics ended...

Those were some nasty haymakers by Gazdic, but I doubt any type of lets stop the fighting in the NHL type talks come out it. Well at least nothing on a national level.

As long as the league remains rediculously soft on hits to the head/boarding (which 99 times out of 100 are more likely to injure than a fight) fighting will remain a part of the NHL
