WWE'Josh Matthews confirmed the widespread rumors on his WWE.com Fan Nation blog—this weekend will mark the final Heat telecast.

"Make sure to watch The Weekly Top 5 on WWE.Com every weekend and don't miss the FINAL episode ever of Heat as well, 513 episodes and now its all over," wrote Matthews at http://fans.wwe.com/joshmathews/blog/?pref_tab=blog.

The Heat cancellation had first been reported in conjunction with news that ECW was going to start being taped with RAW, rather than SmackDown, in the coming weeks. Having previously distributed Heat internationally, reports, which originated on PWInsider.com, say WWE will instead offer international affiliates a "WWE Classics" program.
Should be interesting what they do with the regular wrestlers that were on Heat most of the time.

Most of them will probably move back down to developmental areas or wrestle dark matches for the big three shows.

TNA is a slight possibility for veterans like Val Venis.

Val Venis is one of the most underrated wrestlers on the roster. I just dont understand why WWE doesn't do something with him.

Millz already knows I totally agree on this one. Val has always been a decent in-ring performer and has had enough charisma to get by.

If TNA would mean he'd get more exposure, I'd be all for it!
