Happy July 4th Everyone! Light lots of fireworks but be safe and eat, eat, eat. Unfortunately for me, I have to work. I had the day off but volunteered to work but I'm still getting paid for it. It's not going to be busy and it's just easy money for me.

A great day to everyone! We had a nice show from our screened porch last night (we're on a bit of a hill) watching about 5 fireworks shows at the same time. Later last night (this morning) I watched another show of rain and hail pour down for about 4 hours. By then, even though more was coming, I was too tired to stay up. We'll be heading to a bbq in about 4 hours along with a private fireworks show. Hope that rain keeps away!

I nearly went 6 feet under today. There was an accident on the freeway and I was on the right lane and people were cutting two lanes over nearly hitting me trying to avoid traffic. It was so crazy that some cars were turning around trying to exit off the on ramp but a cop on a motorcycle redirected them back. A van hit a guard rail causing it to roll over. The metal to the guard rail was bent back and there were splinters of wood everywhere. I hope the driver is ok because I saw a police car escort the ambulance on the other side of the freeway.

Glad all is well and our family enjoyed the 4th very much, eating watermelon and hot dogs and watching the bright colorful explosions!
