I want to see who you guys think are the greatest players of all time in different sports. If you don't like a certain sport, you don't need to include an answer. I know football is hard to choose.

Here are mine:

Babeball: Babe Ruth
Hockey: Wayne Gretzky
Basketball: Michael Jordan
Football: Joe Montana
Golf: Tiger Woods/Jack Nicklaus
Tennis: Pete Sampras
Boxing: Mike Tyson
FOOTball/Soccer: Pele

Thoughts?

Boxing: Mike Tyson

Darts: Eric Bristow

Cricket: Brian Lara

Gaelic Football: Maurice Fitzgerald (The only person on the list i've met :p)

Basketball: Lebron
Says the Cavs fan. Lebron may end up being the greatest when all is said and done, but he's certainly not there yet. Zero championships. I wouldn't put him in the top 10 of all time right now.

Sorry but like Echoes said, LeBron is not even close of being the best player of all time. But he does have a chance to be known as the best when his career is all set and done.Having Bo Jackson is an interesting selection. He might of been the best if he never got those bad injuries.Good catch Echoes, didn't think anyone would catch that.

I dont really have much of an idea as to who is the best in most sports so for me there will only be three.
Golf:Tiger Woods.
Cycling:Lance Armstrong
Boxing:Sugar Ray Robinson.

I have picked Robinson over Ali or Tyson for a couple of reasons.
1:The length of his career, almost 26 years as a pro.

2:He held both the welterweight title and middleweight title, the middleweight he held five times.

3:At the end his long career his total record stood at 175-19-6 with an outstanding 109 KO's.
These things are what made choose him over Ali or Tyson.
