Haters gonna hate.
Would it be possible for this to be the central Grammy Awards 2010 thread?

FULL LIST: Nominees | GRAMMY.com

This year is hard to tell for the four main ones. My predictions for these four are as follows:

ROTY: Need You Now -- Lady Antebellum

My personal favorite. I LOVE this nomination. Go Lady A!

AOTY: Need You Now -- Lady Antebellum

If Lady A wins ONE, they have to win the other.

SOTY: F*** You -- Cee Lo Green

Why not? Great lyrics.

BNA: Florence + The Machine

My personal favorite. I think they deserve it, but it will most likely go to either go to Biebs or Drake (I'd prefer Drake over Biebs)

Thoughts?

Bruno Mars is going to be the big winner this year. He took 2010 by storm, six of his ten singles were number one this year. I'll probably end up watching a bit of it, but I doubt I could watch the whole thing.

Want Arcade Fire to take album of the year. I haven't actually heard the album, but their past work has been pretty tight, so I'm sure it's awesome. Have they gone mainstream? Like in terms of getting radio play and whatnot? Because for the longest time they were pretty much the insert-indie-band-here name that was dropped every time someone wanted to name an obscure band; despite that obviously meaning they weren't obscure in the least. It'd certainly be cool if they were getting some more widespread recognition.

I'd be happy to see either 'Fuck You', 'Love The Way You Lie' or 'Empire State of Mind' win.

Album of the Year:

The Suburbs
Arcade Fire

Recovery
Eminem

Need You Now
Lady Antebellum

The Fame Monster
Lady Gaga

Teenage Dream
Katy Perry
Recovery deserves it, but I'm sure Perry or Gaga will take it.

I see 'Love The Way You Lie' winning this one.

Best New Artist:

Justin Bieber
Drake
Florence & The Machine
Mumford & Sons
Esperanza Spalding
Drake, without question. His album sold well & he has as big of a buzz, if not bigger than Bieber.

On an interesting side note, I fell in love with fellow nominee Mumford and Sons a few weeks ago, so I found it weird that they are nominated. They are certainly a dark horse. Americana from a band of Brits? Good. Original. Awesome.

@BR: Bruno himself is not up for any of the major awards. If it were to be a big night for him, B.O.B would need to win record of the year, and i doubt that will happen.

Overall, again, it is definitely hard to tell.

Another awesome category is for
Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals

Ready To Start

Arcade Fire
Track from: The Suburbs
[Merge Records / Sonovox]

I Put A Spell On You

Jeff Beck & Joss Stone
Track from: Emotion & Commotion
[Rhino/ATCO]

Tighten Up

The Black Keys
Track from: Brothers
[Nonesuch]

Radioactive

Kings Of Leon
[RCA Records]

Resistance

Muse
Track from: The Resistance
[Warner Bros.]

Pulling for Muse, but Kings of Leon or even The Black Keys may take it.

And
Best Rock Album

is hard to judge too....
Emotion & Commotion

Jeff Beck
[Rhino/ATCO]

The Resistance

Muse
[Warner Bros.]

Backspacer

Pearl Jam
[Monkeywrench]

Mojo

Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers
[Reprise]

Le Noise

Neil Young
[Reprise]

All legends (and Muse)... ANYONE'S call on that.

Thoughts?
