I have a question for all you travelers out there that have been to Disneyland.

Theoretically, if I were to go to Disneyland (and connected parks) in California, what are the must see/do attractions and rides?

I went to Walt Disney World in Orlando 15+ years ago so there's really not a lot for me to remember about it other than I liked it. I've always loved that nostalgic feeling that I get from Disney stuff though.

Here's a map of the park.

Click the image to make it larger.

Looks like a lot of stuff to do but I am not well versed on what the best stuff is and what's not really worth my time. (I believe I have 2 days in the park, maybe only 1 though)

Thoughts?

I'm going tomorrow. Paris of course haha. We go there yearly for the past 5 years. Fifteen years ago may not be the same attractions that you might enjoy now. Also use the fast pass. Where you can go to an attraction and get a pass for a specific time later then go elsewhere. When the time you chose comes, you go back to the attraction and you get in. That way you don't spend hours in line!

I believe we're actually getting into the park for free. And I don't really mind waiting in lines when I'm there for free. Plus, scheduling ride times sounds like it's stressful. Anyway, I'm not even sure if they offer the fast pass option at this park

I'm going to the smaller of the two Disney locations in America. I somewhat remember it but the one in Orlando Florida is HUGE. The park in Anaheim is much more modest (it's also the original Disney park) and I hear the wait times aren't all that bad. Lots of people online say that you can definitely do the two parks they have there in two days time without missing much

I'll bet the one in Paris is really cool. The castle they have there looks like it's the best one at any Disney park

So, a couple of things I'm quite excited for. (After I've researched a bit)

1. Indiana Jones
2. Space Mountain
3. Splash Mountain
4. Sleeping Beauty Castle (I like Disney castles)
5. Big Thunder Mountain
6. Canoe River Adventure
7. Pirates of the Caribbean
8. Finding Nemo Submarine
9. Cars

should be pretty fun. :)

Download the map beforehand. The map should also say where the fastpasses are valid.

Oh, poppycock.
Don't forget to appreciate the inevitable scenery porn. I'm such a sucker for that kind of stuff at Disney parks and the like.

I will be sure to download the map and take the time to look at all the scenery. It looks like the atmosphere of the place will be fantastic I'm sure.

I'm going this Wednesday and Thursday, Thursday will probably be long enough to stay and see the fireworks.

On the plus side, I'm getting park hopper tickets. :)

Disneyland might actually be the happiest place on earth.

Here are all the attractions I got to do today. In order...

Soarin
Grizzly Peak Rapids
Space Mountain
Sleeping Beauty Castle
Big Thunder Mountain
Cars Radiator Springs Racers
Star Tours (Star Wars theme)
Splash Mountain
World of Color

That's a full day at Disney to be sure. It's a real challenge just finding a place to drink out of a fountain or even to find a bathroom.

Attractions I plan to see tomorrow...

Screamin
Aladdin show
Lincoln show
Indiana Jones
Matterhorn

I may also repeat just a couple rides with my brother. I plan on tomorrow being a short day after a very lengthy 15 hour day at Disney.

Unfortunately, Indiana Jones was closed today and Finding Nemo is closed long term. Hopefully I'll get everything done tomorrow.

We know some people that got us amazing tickets. We got park hopping as well as fast pass all for the cheap price of FREE. Really love these people.

I've made sure to take plenty of time to soak in the atmosphere. In short, I Adore sm

Just got back from a shorter day...

Screamin California
Splash Mountain (again)
Matterhorn
Astro Blasters
Tarzan's Treehouse
Indiana Jones
Star Tours (again)

Sadly I didn't get to Aladdin but it was a fantastic day all the same.

I gotta say it again. I love this place and want to return someday.

The best attraction? Not entirely sure. Indiana Jones was crazy good but World of Color was amazing as well.

I love soarin' the best. I am headed to DL CA in a month, and I am told there is a BUNCH of new stuff to do since I went there last time.
