Funny Commercial

    Although I really don't agree with the lendingtree.com advice, I think it is pretty ridiculous to go into debt just to keep up with the joneses. Debt just never looked like a good idea to me. Maybe I'm weird like that. It's one of those things that you never really plan on getting into, then one day, you wake up and you are in fact, like Stanley Johnson, in debt up to your eyeballs. The old adage proves itself true. "Those who fail to plan plan to fail." What are your thoughts on this?

    That's a classic commercial. I've always liked the part when he sneaks back in and says "I can barely pay my finance charges".

    I agree. The average American has over $8,000 in credit card debt. That doesn't sound like a good plan to me.
