Beginning next year, the Ladies Professional Golf Association will test players for English proficiency. The un-proficient, no matter how low their handicaps, will face suspension.

Sorry but I don't really approve of this, what does it matter if they cannot speak english very well. It's about Golf, and not on how well they can speak the english language.

I have no idea why the LPGA would enforce this rule, don't even have a clue. Doesn't make much sense in my opinion.

That is one of the most ridiculous rules in sports that I've ever heard. Why does it matter if they can speak fluent English? Isn't it an international game? Wow.
