Fully aware. If they stay at their early season pace, first team below 10,000 fans in something like 10 years.

Their numbers dropped off big time after they had that playoff run. Not entirely sure what happened - was it the owner ship? Like look at Carolina. They've lost like 3-4K fans each year for the last two years. Did the horrible signing of Alex Semin break the camels back?

This is what I usually check for attendance numbers http://espn.go.com/nhl/attendance

Their arena capacity numbers should be close to being correct - I bitch slapped them last year, had wrong numbers for like 10 arenas. A quick glace and I see they have Montreal's wrong. They haven't calculated for the seats that were added. Should be 99.9 and not 100.1.

but a really great one is http://www.hockeydb.com/nhl-attendance/. New York Americans averaged 11,500 fans in 1925-26 ;)
