Nomura hints at Final Fantasy VII remake - GAMER.BLORGEIt feels as though we’ve been waiting in eager anticipation for a Final Fantasy VII remake for years now. And it probably has been that long. It was almost a year ago that I asked whether this most-requested game would ever actually become a reality. Maybe 2010 will hold a nice surprise in store.
While this is by no means a clear cut admission that Final Fantasy VII is on its way, finally Tetsuya Nomura strongly hints at it. According to RPGLand, Nomura, one of the chief architects in the FF universe, recently spoke to Japanese magazine Gamega about Square Enix’s plans for the next year.
Nomura was asked, “Will 2010 be the year for the announcement of the game of his dreams?” He responded with:I can just say, that indeed, whereas I’m still working on Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Agito XIII and a little later on The 3rd Birthday (this year), we will announce other games this year and one is terribly awaited from everyone and often “REQUESTED” by fans and even by the press crew that I meet all over the world. If that isn’t the Final Fantasy VII remake then I don’t know what it is. Because no other game fits that description. I won’t be counting my chickens until the official announcement is made, however.
I'd jizz in my pants if they remade 7.
