    Who are your favorite announcers?

    Here's a few that I really enjoy

    -Chuck Swirtzky(raptors basketball)
    -Dick Vitale(College Basketball)
    -Joe Morgan(ESPN Baseball)
    -Al Michaels(NBC Football)
    -Dan Shulman(ESPN)
    -Chris Cuthberg(TSN Hockey)
    -Hubie Brown(ESPN Basketball)

Those are a few that I really enjoy listening too.

Jerry Remy and Don Orsillo (NESN Red Sox Baseball)
    Chris Berman
John Madden (because he makes me laugh)

I would have selected Chris Berman as well, but I didn't because he barely does any games, I wish that they would put him it the booth for Monday Night Football, he's a great announcer, he shows so much enthusiasm and it shows that he really enjoys the game. Take out Tony Kornheiser and replace him with Berman.

    not necessarily in that order

    and in side note,

I can't stand Joe Morgan and John Miller in baseball. I'm sorry, but they always sound like they're doing an instructional video and it's boring.

Yes! I hate when ESPN broadcast games, just because of that (or do they do it for Fox) either way, their not that good at announcing

  7. Major

Major 4 legs good 2 legs bad V.I.P.

    I think he's terrible.

    Gus Johnson (CBS college basketball)
Gary Thorne and Bill Clement were the best announcing team for hockey on ESPN back in the day
    Kirk Herbstreit (ESPN college football)
    Ron Franklin (ESPN college football)
    Todd Blackledge (ESPN college football)
    Chris Fowler (ESPN college football)
Mike Patrick and Dick Vitale (ESPN college basketball)
Mike Tirico (various sports on ESPN, I think he primarily does NBA now)

I think Hubie Brown is very good, he always has something interesting to say, and he knows his basketball.

I love Joe Morgan and John Miller, their really interesting, and they actually know what their talking about unlike tons of annoucers in the sports today.

I actually find that he RARELY has anything interesting to say. His voice is very monotone and he talks too slowly. I'm sure he does know his basketball, but all of his analysis is very obvious to any average basketball fan. "That was a great job of cutting to the basket." Gee, thanks. Sadly his analysis doesn't get much more in-depth than that.
