I saw Skyfall a few nights ago (got the Blu-Ray) and I really enjoyed it. It sort of dawned on me that I really haven't seen any discussion about 007 films recently, so here's to fixing that.

Ian Fleming's James Bond has been popular for over 50 years at this point, it's amazing to think that its popularity is still growing even more.

So what's your favorite? Discuss favorite scenes, your personal favorite portrayal of James Bond, favorite Bond girls, etc.

The poll includes the films I felt that I needed to add (thus the options are slightly biased ;) toward the more modern films as they're the ones that I know and love myself). I didn't feel that The World Is Not Enough or Quantum of Solace made the cut, it also freed up some space to add some older films to the list.

I really enjoy Daniel Craig and Pierce Brosnan as James Bond, I've been meaning to watch some Sean Connery soon as well. I actually need some time to contemplate which one I like the best though.

Discuss.

From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Live and Let Die, For Your Eyes Only, Goldeneye and The the World is not enough are my favorites although I love them all, except for the Timothy Dalton movies. I was so disappointed in his selection as James Bond I boycotted them and have never seen them. I have all of them, except for the Dalton movies, on VHS and have started collecting them on DVD and Blue Ray. I swear to God if something comes out after Blue Ray I'm going to be pissed if I have to start my collection all over again.

I liked them all but I have to say Sean Connery was my favorite. I loved Roger Moore as well especially in Live and Let Die, which had Jane Seymour as Solitaire. She is probably my favorite Bond girl. I like Roger Craig but I did like Pierce Brosnan more as James Bond.

I haven't seen the early James Bond movies(Sean Connery, Roger Moore, ect.) but I do plan to watch most of them one day.

My favorite has to be Casino Royale. I thought it was just fantastic. The story, the action, the Bond girl. I just enjoy everything from that movie.

That said, I thought that Javier Barden was the best Bond villain. He did such a great job in Skyfall.

I've only seen the Brosnan & Craig films. I've enjoyed most of them. Skyfall is my favorite, with GoldenEye coming in at reasonably close second.

My two favorite villains are Raoul & Xenia.

I love the Bond films, I'm pretty sure I've seen them all. I own them all on box set at least. But my problem is they all kind of meld into one for me  Most of them I watched on tv with my Grandad and I didn't even know the name of it at the time. So now it's really hard for me to remember what happens in what film, despite seeing most of them multiple times since.

That was a very long way to say I love James Bond but I don't have a favourite film.

Sean Connery has to be my favourite Bond. I think Daniel Craig does a good job, too.

I decided to go with GoldenEye, Casino Royale and Tomorrow Never Dies are very close behind.

There's just a lot to love about GoldenEye, Sean Bean as 006, Boris, Q, M. It also happened to have one of the greatest games of all time made after it.

My favorite portrayal of Bond is Pierce Brosnan, he was just perfectly suited for the role and he was 007 the whole time I was growing up.

I agree Brosnan was very good as Bond. He had the looks, the attitude, everything. Connery was just such a badass I have to go with him as my favorite, but Brosnan brought so much to the role. My favorite villian has to be Blofeld. Watching movies like Thunderball, From Russia With Love and You Only Live Twice I can't help but laugh when I see Austin Powers and the making fun of those movies. I also loved Auric Goldfinger and Oddjob as villians. Speaking of Thunderball, Claudine Auger as Domino was a great Bond girl, she was beautiful.

If I had to rank my favourite bonds, it would be like this.

1. Sean Connery
2. Daniel Craig
3. Pierce Brosnan
4. George Lazenby (sp?)
5. Roger Moore
6. Timothy Dalton

I cannot stand Moore or Dalton in the bond role.

As for my favourite movie, i'm much like Bex in that I have seen them all and they somewhat blend together. I've been watching them since I was a kid. I think the most memorable for me are the recent ones (perhaps why I like Craig so much as Bond) so i'm going to go with Casino Royale as my favourite. I haven't seen Skyfall yet though.
