Ever bought a car on eBay?

Have any of you ever bought a car on eBay without having a chance to test drive it or anything? I always thought this was pretty risky but apparently a ton of people do this all the time.

I might be in the market for a new car soon and was wondering if anybody had any experiences to post about?

Ask Albey. He bought an Escort and never got the car, and lost 3000. Ebay said he had to go and file legally where ever he bought it from, but he never did.

Wow.. I would have been super mad if that happened to me. I should ask him about that but I haven't seen him on too often lately.

Weird thing is I know a guy who bought 2 cars off eBay without any problems at all. He was trying to convince me that there is nothing to worry about but now I am having second thoughts... :(

some men in my church bought a bus off EBay. They got a good deal, but it had some problems. That's the risk with any used vehicle, though.

There's just a couple things that you need to look for when buying a car on ebay. The first thing is to check the feedback and make sure that it's good, if the seller has sold a car before then that's perfect. The other big thing IMO is to only buy from a dealer or if not make sure you contact the seller and setup a test drive.

My brother has bought 3 cars off ebay and all were successful, you just need to be smart about it. He bought a 1966 Mustang, a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and just recently a 2005 Mercedes C320. All were just fine but he got himself into financial troubles so he sold the first 2.

Just remember to make a big deal out of feedback for such a big purchase and to ask the seller any questions about it if you are suspicious.

I just bought a car off of ebay for $9,200. It's a 2000 BMW 323i but it has 105k miles on it, it's been taken care of very well though. I'm sending the full payment on the 12th and it will be shipped to me and probably get here by the 18th. If you want I can give you my feedback on how it worked out for me. I was going to get a more expensive car but it was a good deal and I figured I would save a little extra cash in case I need it or invest.

My cousin bought an Alpha Romero (really nice car) and the only thing that was wrong with it was the emergency brake.... It wouldn't work but he was never one to use the emergency brake anyways.

I have a 1995 Millenia S that I'm thinking of putting on there but I love it so much that I don't want to part with it.
