I decided to do a review for one of the cards I mentioned as an alternative to Hades in Turbo's review. Here is the End of Anubis:

The End of Anubis
Atk/Def 2500/0
While this card is face-up on the field, all effects of Spell, Trap, and Monster Cards that target a card(s) in the Graveyard or that activate in the Graveyard are negated.
This card single handedly stops the special summon effects of monsters like Vampire Lord, Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys, Dark World monsters any type or element searcher like Mystic Tomato, Giant Rat or Warriorlady of the Wasteland. Any spell or trap that specifically designates 1 card such as Premature Burial or Call of the Haunted are useless with End of Anubis on the field. However monsters like Bazoo the Soul Eater and Strike Ninja can still pay their cost to activate their effects since the End of Anubis negates effects regarding the graveyard, not costs.

The End of Anubis is a monster with a powerful effect and impressive stats as well. Having the highest attack of any single tribute monster that is not determined by an effect and the suprisingly useful 0 defense. Now many have criticized End of Anubisfor having only 0 defense because of cards like Book of Moon and Tsukuyomi when used in conjunction with monsters with piercing effects like Airknight Parshath. Guess what? Tsukuyomi is currently banned and Book of Moon is restricted to 1. That leaves Enemy Controller, but it is seldom ran. But why is the low defense good? Ironically Smashing Ground destroys the monster with the highest defense and the End of Anubis is guarateed to have the lowest defense of any monster on your side of the field.

Now because End of Anubis cannot negate effects like Strike Ninja or Dark Necrofear, using the End of Anubis in a deck with either of these is probably ideal. For a single tribute monster to be this powerful, it cannot help but be compared to the Dark Ruler Hades. Both of them being dark, fiends and having powerful negation effects in addition to attack scores higher than any monarch. Even more interesting about the comparison between the Dark Ruler Hades and the End of Anubis is that is you have both out on the field the Dark Ruler Hades' effect also applies to the End of Anubis thus creating a very powerful negation together defeating most monsters by battle and stopping some of them from coming back by another method. A deck using Mausoleum of the Emporer and the Dark Ruler Hades and the End of Anubis with a possibility of Dark Necrofear could be very powerful indeed.

in a Dark/fiend deck 4/5

in a beat down deck 4/5

just tossed into a random deck 3/5
