Ebola Lurked in a Doctor’s Eye

When he was released from Emory University Hospital in October after a long, brutal fight with Ebola that nearly ended his life, Dr. Ian Crozier’s medical team thought he was cured. But less than two months later, he was back at the hospital with fading sight, intense pain and soaring pressure in his left eye.

Test results were chilling: The inside of Dr. Crozier’s eye was teeming with Ebola.
Weeks After His Recovery, Ebola Lurked in a Doctor’s Eye

The area around his eye and tears were clear of Ebola but still you have to wonder if someone like this can contaminate others.

A lot of Ebola survivors suffer from eye problems, chronic pain and headaches for months after recovery. Could it be lurking in other areas of the body without being discovered. What else about this disease do they not know.

Hope the man doesn't go blind, he could, not a lot they can do to treat it. Really have to feel for anyone that has had Ebola. They suffer so.

Thoughts?

Thats really scary. They really needa focus on finding a way to immunize against that disease. The more it hides in places like that then the more difficult it will be to stop it from spreading. Thats probaly why it "seemed" to be gone in some areas then started all over again.
