Doping in sports

Should performance enhancing drugs ever be permitted in sports? Do you believe that the human body should be tested to its limits or should the event have no artificial advantages?

If you can't do it straight then you shouldn't do it at all. It's as simple as that.

I am not one to go on the moral high ground, and don't believe doping should be banned in general, especially in professional sports. However, with respect to the Olympics, I think doping should remain banned. They are a distinct event, where one should be tested purely on athletic merit. I am probably one of the few who think it should revert to purely amateur competition.
