Donald Trump running for President

I can't believe there are people out there who take Trump, Jeb Bush, Chris Chrisie, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders seriously. It's mind numbing.

NBC did the right thing cutting ties with this buffoon.

I am happy to hear they cut him loose, what a nutjob this clown is. There's no way he wins a damn thing.

I get the immigration situation is bad but saying the Mexicans are not our friends among the other shit he said? Just shut up.

Can't stand the man but I gotta give Trump one thing he doesn't mince words, he says what he thinks. I can see him telling the UN to shove it when they try to tell us what we should be doing in our own country. Probably would build a wall across our borders. Frankly I think that would be a good idea.

I'm not defending what Trump said about the illegal immigrants but I'm not sure Mexico is our friend. They did nothing to stop all those kids and others from passing through Mexico to get here last summer. As long as they told the authorities they were coming here they let them pass on through. They are only stopping them now at their southern border because we had a fit about it and probably gave them money to do it.

Personally I think Bernie Sanders would make a good president. At least right now I do. I really don't want Clinton or Bush. I guess I would vote for anyone other than them two.

Wouldn't be surprised if he sued NBC.

The problems are 1) Mexico doesn't send anyone, people leave Mexico. Mexico doesn't sit there and say "hey you murderers and rapists, leave and go the US and commit your crimes over there". It's just dumb of him to say Mexico sends these people. 2) He said "Some are good people, I assume" which is also silly. The law of large numbers tells me when large amounts of people are immigrating some are going to be good people, some are going to bad people. Some are going to be hard working, some are going to be lazy, some are going to be honest, some are not going to be honest. 3) He's classifying ALL Hispanic immigrants as Mexicans, and they aren't. Some are, some are from Honduras, El Salvador, Columbia, etc. We don't look at ALL Asian immigrants and call them Chinese if they are from North Korea or Japan. If someone does not understand this he has no business running for president.

Of course not all the people that cross the border are bad people, he shouldn't have said they were. Not all of them are even Hispanics. Yet he didn't mention that, none of them do. Those are the ones that are likely to be a terrorist.

Cabrera said that border patrol apprehends a wide variety of nationalities in the Rio Grande Valley: people from countries in Africa and the Middle East, China and increasingly Brazilians and Cubans choosing a much longer route in preference to the usual tactic of trying to reach Florida by water.

Bernie Sanders is the only one I take seriously of that lot.
Me too. Not that I agree with his socialist fiscal policy (and people think Obama is a socialist? Lmao), but the dude seems to have more integrity than anyone else running and isn't going to sell out and pander to the masses. He's like the left's version of Ron Paul.

I do agree Sanders seems to be a man of integrity. I wholeheartedly disagree with his economic philosophy, but I will say he's a man who says what he feels and isn't going to pander to anyone. I can respect that.

I would be shocked if Clinton isn't the Democratic nominee to be honest. My sister already has a bumpersticker supporting her.

I'll have to research Sanders more though. A lot of people have said good things about him.

Clinton's accomplishments are very strong, but I am just a little worried about the dynasty factor on either side of the political spectrum. I will also be amazed if she's not the pick, though.

I think Trump got what he deserves by receiving a backlash. You get free speech in this country--but you also get to freely negotiate contracts and drop acidic clients. ; D
