domains?

Anyone have luck with selling domains for a decent price? With the fixed price sale today, I decided what the heck, and listed a domain that I own, that I've not done anything with for a year. I've used it in the past.

www.warm-fuzzies.com (nothing there right now). I asked $749. I'd be willing to sell it for that. I definitely wouldn't sell it to some porno site for $20. LOL.

My renewal comes up next week, and I was debating what to do with it.

Too bad you don't have warmfuzzies.com.. without the -..

I have had luck getting decent offers on my domains, but I've never sold. Instead I just get motivated by the offers to turn the sites into something big and then sell. :)

I have received some offers in the high $xx,xxx range. NEVER through fixed length auctions though... Absolutely never.

My personal favorite for selling domains is Sedo, which you can also make some extra cash if you park your domain there as well if you aren't ready to sell right away.

Amen brother. I thought about it too long (this was like 8 years ago) and some guy bought it and it just says "elvis was here" or something stupid. He offered to sell it to me once for $500. (I think, I can't remember)

BLEH. Well... it cost me $1.90 to list it. If nothing happens I won't freak. It does have a lot of linking to the site already, so I thought that may be appealing to someone.

I dunno what I'd do with it to make it so great and wonderful to warrant 5 digits!

Oh well. Yeah I like sedo because it's free to list. You just pay if you sell it there. :)

I don't know how on earth I came up with this but I just bought upyourgutter.com. Good domain for a gutter business.

I signed up with Sedo the other day and wanted to list my domain and website on the front page. I sent payment and is still not on the front page. I sent them an email. So now I am trying to log into my account and it still says Page Loading, please wait. I hope I didn't get scammed by them.
