Plastic particles found in bottled water

I use a Brita filter pitcher at home and have a Brita water bottle I carry with me. When I buy bottled water, for a party or long trip, I tend to look for water from a local spring.

I mostly drink well water, only occasionally drink bottled water.

One comment the article made I found more alarming than a small amount of plastic being in the bottled water was that its in the air. They think the acetone and Nile Red dye they used to detect the plastic in the water was contaminated with it. So are we breathing plastic particles?
