After an extensive courtship, Jason Taylor has finally agreed to terms with the New York Jets as of Tuesday afternoon, according to multiple sources. ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter tweeted the terms of the deal, which are two years, $13 million. The "real number" is a one-year deal for up to $3.75 million.
It's not huge news yet, but it's a pretty done deal.

How isn't this huge news? Taylor as been one of the best defensive players in the last few years. The Jets defense is already outstanding and now they had an All-Pro defnesive player like Taylor, that will be scary to face that's for sure.

Great sign for the Jets, just makes that great team on paper even better. I just hope that the team molds well together and there isn't any incidents.

I meant it wasn't really out in the open yet, on ESPN main page, SI, etc. They need someone like him so Vernon Gholston can learn and be the player he was in college.
