Custom furniture?

Anybody here build their own custom furniture? I'm possibly going to attempt to build an extension to my desk soon so I can hook up a second monitor on a side part that sticks out, but that won't be necessary until I have a monitor to put there.

I've never done anything super fancy but if you have feel free to post pics of your work.

I grew up in a family as a third or fourth generation carpenter, so I know my way around the tools fairly well. I never did anything by myself, but I could if a need ever arose.

All I've ever done was refinish and reupholster furniture. It's really cool to go to a thrift store and find a '50s or '60s chair and redo it in a cool pattern.
