Crosby re-examined, but Pens not sure how long NHL's top star will be out

    I know is numbers are good, but he's overhyped and is not the next one. Ovechkin is twice the player Crosby is and Crosby should have NOT been made Captain.

    This is a huge blow for the Penguins, the other young stars of the Penguins will need to step up in his absence.

    i'm glad this happened, now the rest of the good players on that team will get the attention they deserve; like malkin, staal, gonchar. finally we get to see the pittsburgh penguins again not the pittsburgh crosby.

    I agree. It'll be interesting to see Pittsburgh without Crosby. They are still fine to go by themselves without Sid-the-captain. I look forward to's just unfortunate that it had to be around the All-star game. Malkin's going to be the fifth all-star replacement this year
