when your computer decides to update and tells you it's going to restart in 1 minute - what if you're in the middle of something (fortunately, on some computers, you can abort the updates)
That's when you turn all those updates off. I haven't done a winblows update in years and I don't plan on it either. I have enough security with 2 firewalls (1 with the router and 1 on my computer) and my virus scanner.

I only update other programs when I want to see the new stuff and if everybody else says they haven't had any issues yet.

I really hate it when software that your computer easily meets all of the requirements to run doesn't work and when you try to run it it telly you that you need a better computer to run it.

When your computer runs super slow for no reason at all

When sometimes (very rearely) you have to hold down a key for 2 seconds to type one letter.

When for some odd reason the video card stops working for just a few seconds and all of your desktop settings and settings in games are completely ruined since suddenly for just a few seconds your computer couldnt handle the resolution that you want.

And many more other random things.

yeah, my computers at home don't do it, but at school they do (pretty annoyingly often, too, i might add) since we're usually in the middle of doing something, it can be rather annoying...

at home my computer automatically updates about once a week at night. (when i'm asleep).

ysabel,
Not sure quite how to solve your mouse problem but go to the control panel and open up the mouse options. Maybe there you will have an indication of the possibilities to solve the porblem. Good luck!

My main one is more of a user error, but when I go to type A and accidentally hit the caps lock button instead.

Adults who really don't understand the most basic of computer related things.

This doesn't apply to old fogies, however. It's understandable for them. However, if you're a member of the current generation or the previous generation, please, read a guide on the subject. And if you're in this current generation, then you'd better have a damn good excuse...

Nothing is more annoying than my laptop...

On the surface it is the perfect computer for me, however, deep down it is evil. Yes... EVIL!

Let this just be a warning... Rant ahead!

It happens to be the only computer in the house that'll make my Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector work properally, and it's also the only computer that is exclusively mine that will read my iPod, camera, and will play games without crashing.

So it's pretty special to me, right? Well yeah... When it works. Lets just say I got it almost exactly one year ago with my graduation money. I had full intent on using it in college... but... In the first semester, it only worked maybe 2 weeks.

The first problem that happened was it got a negative screen... I have no idea how that happened, but after months of seeing if my dad or friends could fix it we finally decided to send it in... It takes a long time to get it done (two months, I believe.), and they tell us the problem is unfixable so they're going to give us a whole new one that's actually better...

That was a lie. We got it back... Just a while after I got it, we went IHOP, and I thought I'd go online and instal some things like FireFox, but no... It tells me my Vista code is "invalid" and tells me that it I may be a victim of "pirating". It than proceeds to not let me even look at anything on my computer other than that little pop-up telling me I need to get it worked out...

So we take it to a local shop... They fix it up... Than it happens again. This has probably happened at least 5 times since. It just won't stop, and it has made me really pissed off every single time.

It was not useful for my freshman year of college at all. Also, I'm using it right now... and I'm just counting the days until it does it again and makes me install everything all over again.. >_>

I had other things I wanted to buy (or at least save the money for) with that money... I went for the laptop because it would help me with college... All it has been is a huge problem.

I must warn anybody here. Never, ever, buy an HP laptop.
