Colts Bob Sanders out 4-6 weeks

According to Colts team president Bill Polian, a high ankle sprain could keep S Bob Sanders out for as long as 4-6 weeks.

Polian indicated the NFL's reigning Defensive Player of the Year may also undergo arthroscopic "cleanup" surgery on one of his knees while he's recovering. This is a big loss for a Colts defense that was already having major problems stopping the run. Upgrade Maurice Jones-Drew and Fred Taylor for this week's matchup against the Colts.
This is a huge loss for the Colts. Just think if they wouldnt have come back and beaten the Vikings...they'd be 0-2 and with no Bob Sanders.

This is a huge lost to the team, Sanders is arguably there best defender, and losing him for a long period of time like this, won't help the Colts defense. Hopefully he can recover before he's suppose to come back.
