You know how Mozasrt (or someone, I forget) composed the original melody for Twinkile Twinkle Little Stars right? You also know that the ABCs are also sung to that melody. I found it a little bit weird how the letters happen to rhyme as the song progresses.

for those who don't know:

abcdefg
hijklmnop
qrstuv
wxyz
now I know my abcs..something something....

Is there a story behind this I'm missing?

They proably chose that tune because the letters rhymed when put to it. Z was changed to Zee because it didn't rhyme with g, p, and v.

I get what he means...i think.

It used to be pronounced Zed, now it's Zee.

And i think you're right the first time Oxy; it was Mozart, i kinda remember Al Murray mentioning it.

next time won't you sing with me?

That's the ABC song that I know....which I taught to my baby sister. It's suppose to be like a nursery rhyme no? All N.R's rhyme to no end so little kids can remember them better and others can recite them for the rest of their lives, it's like some form of government control man @[email protected]
