The Los Angeles Clippers signed guard Doug Christie to a second 10-day contract Sunday.

Christie, a 14-year NBA veteran, first signed with the Clippers on Jan. 31 and averaged 2.8 points and 2.3 rebounds in four games.

He has career averages of 11.3 points and 4.1 rebounds with the Lakers, New York, Toronto, Sacramento, Orlando, Dallas and the Clippers. He was on the NBA All-Defensive first team in 2003 with the Kings.

I don't understand why they resigned him and not Alvin Williams, he didn't really play that well with the Clippers, but I believe that after this 10 dat contract is over they'll sign him for the remainder of the season, which is stupid in my mind, but Baylor knows more what he's doing then I do.

There's no room for mistakes when you have such a small contract, he gonnna have to play hard, and well it he wants to remain with the team in future games.
