the word I'd use in #9 is 'subsists' - but I think that 'exists' may be more apt than 'runs' is, when speaking of a person

Yeah I know the meaning of "get over" but I don't think that sentence makes much sense. Seems a bit irrelevant that's why I was wondering what does she mean by that sentence..

I think she means that because it was Friday, she would be able to recover at home over the weekend, as opposed to recovering at work/school/wherever during the week.

For 9 I just felt like 'exists' was too, I dunno, I can't think of the word... Helpful, I know.
