I just spent an evening down at a casino. I played it safe and only took £10 and walked away once I'd doubled it. Yup I can't afford to live in the fast lane right now . I have however made some really stupid decisions in casinos, usually while drunk.

Who else enjoys a trip to the casino?

Any big wins or losses?

I've spent a total of 40 bucks at casinos in my life. I value my money and can't bring myself to spend it needlessly. If I had tons of money, I imagine it would be fun. Adrenaline from the risk of it, exuberation when you win. I'm just really paranoid about getting hooked.

The first time I went I won close to 120$ don't remember the exact amount. I don't go often but I do enjoy going, the atmosphere is awesome. Everyone is well dressed and seem to have a good time.

I am going to Las Vegas in a month, I won't spend much but I'll definitely play a few games.

I don't go to the casino often because it is about 2 hours away from me but they will be building a casino here in the next year or so. I was playing black jack and put in $100 bucks and won an extra $200. Once I won that much, I called it quits.

It takes a lot of will power to walk away when you're on such a winning roll. Good on you ;) You're one of the few examples where house didn't win.

I once won 200 some dollars at a poker table and I could of continued on but still decided to walk away with my winnings. I'm not a huge fan of the casino...I think the last time I went was some 2 years ago. But i do enjoy when I do go. Should be interesting to see how it works out when I go to Vegas. I plan on playing a poker table of a 35$ buy-in.

Even though I can go into a casino now, I can't actually gamble because it's one of the few things you have to be 21 to do here. Although, I can use the slot machine things that they have at a lot of pubs. With my bad luck though, I wouldn't want to try it.

As much as I love casinos they don't apparently love me back because I always lose when I go there. The most I've lost is only around 100 bucks but I seem to lose something whenever I go.

I should stop playing blackjack and slots, I guess.

i'm in a blue state in the heart of the bible belt, need I say more?

and in case you have no clue that translates to no gambling what so ever.

When I went to Vegas a few years back I lived at the blackjack table and took hundreds with me. pretty much came out even when I left.

I do enjoy a good night at the casino, won't lie. Last time I was in one was about a year ago though. I have a golden rule though. I decide on an amount, lets say 200 bucks, and if I loose that, I leave. If I win on that, I put the 200 back in my pocket and play with my winnings only. If I loose all my winnings, the fun ends there. I don't think I've ever won very much! Maybe 1000 (and I am talking South African Rands)... But still, it's fun!
