I don't post here often so I decided instead to make a thread about Car Insurance.

What types of Car insurance do you have? And which one did you pick?

State Farm Liability

$300 to start, $180 a month on a 1995 Ford Escort with 157,000 miles.

$256 every 6 months on a 1990 Buick Park Avenue with 167,000 miles.

First time driver, I'm only 18 and male.

At least, my dad told me I'm going to be paying $180.

That is a lot of money. When I was eighteen, mine was about 500 every six months. That seems like a lot of money for insurance.

Do you live in a large city where insurance is higher?

Well, the only basic Insurance companies I can think of right now is.....

AAMI,GIO,SUNCORP,JUSTCARINSURANCE and probably some more.

The closest "big" city (it's not even that big) is Morgantown, West Virginia at about 45 minutes. The closest cities are Pittsburgh and Baltimore (my home town) are about three hours away.
