The email newsletter for the Japanese magazine Comic June and its sister publications reportedly announced that Asami Tojo, an artist best known for boys-love manga, has passed away. Tojo's own official personal website has yet to update on this report.

In North America, TokyoPop published her manga X-Kai (with her name written as Asami Tohjoh), and Kitty published her manga Thunderbolt Boys Excite (DenkĊ Sekka Boys). Kitty Media released the Chimera - Angel of Death anime video based on her Chimera manga, and Super Techno Arts had licensed the Sci-fi Harry supernatural horror videos based on a manga by her and George Iida. Her other manga titles in Japan include Love Prism and Only You. Source: ANN
