Biryani Rice

  • 1 whole chicken - cut into 8 pieces
  • 4 cups of rice
  • 2 big onions - cut into round pieces
  • 3 pieces of cloves
  • 1/4 cup of oil
  • 2 fresh tomatoes - cut into slices
  • 4 cubes of maggie
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 2 table spoons of powdered curry
  • 2 pieces of cinnamon stick
  • 4 pieces of cardamon
  • 1 table spoon of chopped coriander
  • 2 pieces of bay leaves
  • Salt - as needed

  1. Fry the onion, when it become brown add the garlic
  2. Put the chicken, tomatoes, and all of the other spices
  3. Keep it on a low heat until the chicken is cooked
  4. Then, take the chicken out and put it in the oven
  5. boil the rice, and when it is half cooked add it to the other mixture (tomato and spices)
  6. Cover the pot until the rice is well done
  7. Finally serve the rice with the chicken on the top

I come from the city where the world's best biryani is made. I just ate it 10 minutes back. It's a great dish.


Living on the 0th floor
This looks truly delicious. I am not sure I would trust myself to make it properly, but if I can find all of the ingredients then I would really like to try it some time.
