Billions of Rogue Planets

I've always been curious about what's hiding between the stars, and part of the answer seems to be a whole lot of planets. Rogue planets--which don't orbit stars, and instead float freely through space--have long been theorized to exist, but only now do we have some reasonably strong empirical evidence that they do (and in huge numbers to boot), thanks to gravitational lensing. Crazier yet, it should be possible for life to exist on a moon orbiting a rogue Jupiter, since gas giants of the sort emit quite a bit of heat.
