My hubby is taking me to see Bill Cosby Live tomorrow night at a casino about 2 hours away...I am really excited...I have always wanted to see him in person....
We are going with another couple my hubby works with....we are going to eat at a asian resturant....I have never ate asian food before, but the wife of the other couple is Asian...so she is expanding our horizons.....
I am excited to get out...I feel like a little child wanting to go outside and play....being a stay at home mom and housewife (Domestic Engineer) is not as I thought it would be....It has been a year this months that I left my job at the Hospital...I have always worked before and now I think I am going stir crazy...I know I will be busier when the kids get out of school...
Although my world has revolved around my kids I still need grown up time and that is where you all come in ...but don't get me wrong I LOVE MY KIDS...

you know what I am gunna post a few pics so you can see them....I think I can post the foster kids if it is not for advertisment ohhh welll....here is a pick of my side kick (my daughter) and of Austen our son we are adopting.... also one of him holding his baby half sister that we have also........

So cute-so cute-so cute...reminds me once again why grandmas like to pinch cheeks, and your daughter is beautiful, how old is she? Have a great grown up night out, I know what ya mean about needing it! My hubby and I went to a masquerade ball a few weeks back and had a blast...let me know how the asian food was; haven't tried that one either.

I would have guessed she was older; enjoy the laughs while you can, because those brainsuckers attach themselves at 11:59 p.m. on the eve of her 13th b-day and do not relinquish their hold until......geez I guess I don't know, since their still holding on strong to my 15 year old daughters brain! :hmph: But, every now and then when they're looking the other way, I still get to enjoy my beautiful Jodi!!! :D

Took me awhile but I found the Cosby thread!!! So how was it? I've seen him twice (once in Vegas and once locally) and both times he was great.

Not a big asian food fan. How did you like it?

YES I totally know what you mean about adult time out! I was use to coming and going as I pleased for :::mumbling::: years! before my daughter arrived into our lives. Been not working (HA! Make that not getting a paycheck)! for about 4 yrs now and know just how you feel! I miss the adult me!!! Then again I wouldn't trade her for the world!!! (just some days :D)

BEAUTIFUL kids! Your daughter is georgeous! (watch out Mom)! The babies are adorable! Gimme gimme gimme!!!

Ohhhhh angel! A masquerade ball! How cool! Never been but always wanted to! So who did you go as?

OMG!! Congratulations Trina! You escaped!! I know how you feel about the whole not getting out with adults thing... I haven't been out of the house, at nite, with an adult for almost 2 yrs!! Hubby was never much of a social person. Only times I've been out are with my kids to rock shows or movies. Not that it's ever been less than great but, it's not the same as being out with adult friends. Hmmmm... now that he'll be gone, I guess I better get myself some big people friends to go out with. Life could get fun now. Yes, my second wind

And Trina...Your kids are absolutely DARLING!!

Well Thank you everyone......
Bill Cosby Was great as usual...he is so funny....I love the bit about going to the dentist...I always laugh...and also he did a bit about the kids...OMG sooo Ture and sooooo funny....

I guess where we ate was Korean...WAS SOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD...I can not tell you what I had (the name) but was very good chicken???? with a side of sticky rice and salad??? With a yummy sweet like honey mustard dressing except it was not honey mustard!!
I also had I guess the best way to discribe it is beer battered shrimp...not prawn shrimp and they were about 7 inches long man my eye lite up...the batter was so light and yummy dipped in the korean sause (mystery??)
Also I always order Calamari where ever I go if they have it to compare.....Was not so good...was in the same beer batter, but I was not impressed...I only ate one peice and it was hard getting it down....There was no sauce that could take away that icky taste...heheheheh (BTW best Calamari is at Peer 57?? in Seattle..."The Crab Pot" and Second place is Olive Garden)

SO this place I guess is a very fancy and popular place to eat Korean food...I was so impressed with the surroundings and the service AND FOOD that I will for surly go back and guess how much my meal was (not including the shrimp and Calamari....$6.95........ok you can not beat that even with a stick...not around here...Even Denny's is like $7.95 for a burger!!! I do want to go back and try something else...but when you don't understand the menu uggg it is kinda hard...but they did have Pictures...lol

I had a wonderful evening and I am sad it was over before we knew it....

Also, I won $400.00 on the Wheel of Fortune Slots (played with $10.00) And my Hubby won $300.00 Off the Wheel of Fortune Slots ($10.00 also) Its our fav. Slot.....and then We went to the Craps Table and I lost most my money and then all the sudden started to win...Hubby Always wins uggg...was a blast!! Hubby and I won altogether $1400.00 last night and MANNNNNNNNNNN That is taking away $20.00 bucks we started with uggggg We had so much fun..... I would say that Last night was a very Lucky night...

OHHHHHHHHHHHHH then this morning we went out Yard Saling (why does that word not look right??) and I always wanted one of those old fashioned sewing machines that fold down inside the Cabinet....I walked over to this one at a Yard Sale it was in GREAT condition and had the matching chair...LOVED IT and the Lady asked me if I sewed...I said no I just like how they look..Rustic look...she said "you know what it has been in my family for 60 years and I would rather give it away to someone that would appreciate it than someone buy it and destroy it"....so she told my hubby to go bring the durango around and load it up it was going to be mine...I should go buy a lotto ticket...I am feeling awfully lucky....

Awwwwwwwwww what a night and what a morning...was blissss
