recently i changed the theme for my windows xp.

...but i forgot how i can make bigger letters of this session at :
Start - > all programs

..also the letters of the Start-bar

i used to know all these, but now i can't seem to remember anything.
i right-clicked (on desktop) - properties - appearance - advanced and checked all the options of Items - but i don't remember the options which have to do with what I'm looking for, above.

i can't recall now ...

actually i have lowered the resolution. right now it's 1440x990 pixels...and that's because my 22'' monitor's resolution ratio is 8000:1 ..so that's the resolution that fits the best...

If I were you I'd change your DPI settings, standard is 96 but if you are having a hard time reading the text then I'd up to to 120, I'm not on XP so I can't tell you exactly where to find that.

Try this I might remember.

PROPERTIES > DISPLAY > ADVANCED SETTINGS

and then from there change the DPI setting to 120, should fix your problem.

I think you have to restart your computer for the DPI to actually change...

^ don't worry. i reported her post.

@dDave - thanx but actually i don't have any problem with icon size. they're ok. so i don't think there would be the need to change their size.
but i'm starting to think that some properties of the theme will never change.,.and this includes the size of startbar letters and those of "all - programs" menu.

changing the DPI setting makes the font size bigger too... It makes everything bigger.

It's kind of like zooming in without cutting off part of your display.
