    what's your favorite 2-D game ever?

    here are all of my favorites

    zelda 2
    Legend Of Zelda
    Donkey Kong country 2
    Donkey Kong country
    Sonic the Hedgehog
    Sonic The Hedgehog 2
    Super Mario bros.


    out of those I most definitely would have to say that Sonic the hedgehog is my favorite though Zelda 2 takes a very close second.

    I miss the good old 2-D games, they don't make any good ones anymore.

    I'm going to go with Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure for PC/SNES/Genesis, followed closely by Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for Genesis, followed closely by Sonic 2 for Game Gear.

    Street Fighter....Funnest Arcade style game ever
    Battle Toads! I loved that game...although I have no idea what it was about anymore
    Any of the 2d Hockey games were always great..back when they embraced fighting in hockey!

    I have to say that the "best-ever" 2-D game is without a doubt Sid Meiers Colonization.
