TV Ben Stein Commercials

Usually in the commercial industry they will tell you that boring doesn't sell and how if you want people to pay attention to your commercial you need to have somebody in it who's excited about your product. Well, I realized last night that this isn't necessarily the case. I was watching TV and this commercial came on:

It's dreadfully bland, and yet because it was Ben Stein I found myself paying close attention to it. There's something interesting about a guy who is so bland that companies actually hire him to be bland in their commercials. :lol:
