does anyone know the original ebay link for either of the 2 successful pregnant belly ads?

i am trying to do a similar auction, and having trouble getting attention for it/bidders and trouble getting it watched.....
i really need the money for my baby when she is born so i thought it was a good idea.

Unfortunately the time for making big money on human advertising on eBay I believe has come and gone. Nothing is unique anymore for the most part, and I don't think you will make much money doing that. Check out to find those links though.

They may be paying a lot for the aucitons, but then it is cheaper than paying for an add on television. Now, you know that they will get a lot of attention with the man wearing the pink bunny outfit with their logo and being shown on ESPN sports.

People confuse the issue though. Golden Palace may pay $9,000 for a woman's pregnant belly for ad space, but does that make the market value $9,000? No. They also paid to be the first, and to get the new and media attention that goes along with that. Copycat's aren't worth as much. They buy the stuff that gets loads of traffic. If it only has some traffic, then they don't care about it.

basically they are advertising themselves by "winning" all these different auctions, but is it actuially paying off for them?

    Bunny_roses what? no pink?

well I'm sure that there are a lot of people that have never heard of Golden Palace that now know their name. they are like a household name now. Everybody talks about them. Their name pops up everywhere. So I would say it pays off for them : )

True....BUT....If I'm going to gamble it will involve an airplane, a comped room with room service and all the bling bling that goes with it. (also their bouncy casino chip on the site makes me nuts :)) So even though they are well known now I do wonder how many lookers vs gamblers they have actually attracted. I do remember Andrew talking someplace about a percentage of business going up....or was that Snore Stop?

Actually G.P is using all of their auction purchases to promote themselves and to have an extra draw to the casino. They display all of their winnings kind of the way the old freak shows used to promote their attractions. It just so happens that eBay is the barker and they are the sideshows. (No offense to anyone) It's a draw to get people in for the peak season and off peak season. Just another form of self-promotion that happens to work out great for both parties. That's why they only want first and one of a kinds. I still think they are going to officially make a museum of some kind with all the winnings and press clips. I look forward to seeing if I’m right

I hadn't heard of them till i started looking around ebay....they actually contacted me about an auction before i knew who they were...that probably blew them bidding on it...but anyway...I've now downloaded their poker site....its okay, testing it out to see if i want to put money towards playing on it..and yes they should kill that poker chip on their site...its anoying esp when you already have it downloaded.
